Japanese minitrucks have been around in Japan for a long time. Only Recently have they come to Canada. Unfortunately we cannot bring them any newer that 1994. The Government rules for imports other than USA and Mexico have to be 15 years old. The Japanese Minitruck is a Road driving truck. They where produced in Japan for road use. The little trucks are light weight but very well contructed. They used quality materials in the construction and engineering of the Kei Truck as they are known in Japan. Powered by a 660cc engine that is water cooled most manufactures used a cast iron block and alumium overhead cam cylinder head. These Little Trucks imported from Japan have come a long ways over the years. The new Models in Japan have an extended nose and air bags. Parts for these trucks are avaliable in Canada and even Japanese Mini truck Windshields.
